We have 2 beautiful children Autumn age 11, and James age 8. They enjoy eating right out of the garden, especially peas, and taking tractor rides to the fields where they play in the dirt or nearby woods in the summer. Its a beautiful place to raise our kids. And instill in them the importance of eating healthy, staying active, doing what you love, and taking care of the land.
We currently manage 25 acres of land. We use this land for vegetable crops, cover crops for future crop land, and hay ground to feed our pastured hogs and beef cattle. We have a 30′ X 72′ High tunnel that house our pastured pork, allowing them to live indoors , and are free to roam the outdoors! We use a 30′ X 96′ High tunnel to Start out the season with our Spring Share. All of our starts are grown in our 12′ X 30′ heated greenhouse.
We provide all of our goods to our CSA members. As well as supply the Willy’s Street Co-op with Kale, Brussels sprouts, and other crops through out the season. We can be found year round at the Dane County Farmers market. Summer market – April-Nov at the Capital Square, and indoors Nov-Dec in the Monona Terrace, and Jan- April at the Madison Senior Center.
